Description
The article discusses about the establishment and development of the Agricultural Service Centre at Ambatha, a tribal village in Surgana taluka, Nashik. Initiated by the Maharashtra Prabodhan Seva Mandal in 1964–65, the project aimed to promote scientific agricultural practices and improve the livelihoods of tribal farmers through education and demonstration. The article also talks about the participation of over 500 villagers, including women and children, indicating strong community involvement.
