Description
The Vedhi is a traditional wooden tool used by pastoral communities in Gujarat to spin thread from goat and sheep hair. Measuring about 1 ft × 1 ft, it consists of two intersecting rods around which hair is twisted by hand, reflecting Maldhari craft traditions and the utilitarian use of local animal fiber.
