This issue is largely devoted to accounts of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, academic expansion, staff changes, student strength, and university results. The issue records exhibitions, public meetings, cultural programmes, and visits by distinguished guests, alongside extensive coverage of academic initiatives such as the College Science Improvement Programme (COSIP), the introduction of the National Service Scheme, and the college’s expanding role in social outreach, community development, and service to marginalised groups. There are also articles on education, social justice, national development, and the responsibilities of youth and teachers in a changing India. Literary and creative sections are also included such as poems, prayers, short essays, humour, travelogues, and personal reflections, many written by students.
