Description
From Hoshiar Singh, hostel-clerk, to Pal (13 February 1954) apologising for discrepancies in hostel accounts and misappropriated funds and requesting him to not take the matter to court and undertake disciplinary action departmentally, with a hand-written note from A.B. Joshi regarding the incident and Singh's request. Folder also includes two handwritten notes from Basiswar 'Boshi' Sen (27 January 1954 - 26 February 1954), renowned agricultural scientist, founder of Vivekananda Laboratory, Almora, and owner of the Kundan House, addressed to an unknown recipient, discussing among other things the proposal for the Vivekananda Laboratory to become a branch of IARI, and mentioning conversations with the Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
