Description
The article provides scientific guidance for farmers on identifying and controlling fungal and pest infestations in okra (bhindi) and garlic crops. It describes common problems such as yellow vein mosaic in okra, caused by whiteflies, and leaf-boring and sap-sucking insects affecting both crops. The article advises farmers to use disease-resistant varieties like “Pusasawani”, uproot and burn infected plants, and apply chemical sprays such as Endrin and Andron in measured proportions.
