Correspondence betwen Julia Marton-Lefevre of the International Council of Scientific Unions (ICSU) and Swaminathan regarding the ABN Yamoussokro Symposium on "The Role of Biology in Food Production". Folder contains one letter and two telegrams; one telegram informing Swaminathan of the symposium and inviting him to address the symposium plenary from R.D. Keynes, IBN Steering Committee member; a letter from Marton-Lefevre requesting Swaminathan to suggest another speaker on the topic "Approches to Resolving the Food Crisis in Asia" as he cannot attend (this letter contains hand written annotation); and a telegram from Swaminathan to Marton Lefevre suggesting her to invite M.V. Rao, special Director General, ICAR.
