This issue includes essays on the geopolitics of non-alignment, peaceful uses of nuclear energy and space technology, reflections on ‘scientific outlook’ and an account of a New Agricultural Strategy for India. Scientific articles written by women students and faculty cover topics such as Electron Paramagnetic Resonance, Optical Masers, Biochemistry of Nucleic Acids, Hormones, Flowering (plant biology), Games with Numbers, Paranoia and Schizophrenia. There is a report on a biological field tour through south India in addition to academic results, university ranks, staff changes, scholarships, sports, and other college activities as well as photographs from that year. Creative and reflective writing, including reminiscences, literary criticism of Dickens and Tagore are also included. The issue includes articles in Kannada and Hindi.
