Description
From R.S. Vasudeva, Head of Division of Mycology and Plant Pathology, to B.P. Pal (16 October 1950) forwarding him a letter from George I. Lavin regarding plans for him to come to India for a series of lectures and seminars based on discussions with S.P. Raychaudhuri, seeking Pal's approval to write to Raychaudhuri not to continue such discussions, and to Lavin informing him that such arrangements would have to be discussed with higher authorities; includes a note with the relevant paragraph from the copy of Lavin's letter. Folder also includes a letter from the Head of Technical Department of Plant Protection Ltd. [became ICI Plant Protection Division in 1958] to Vasudeva (14 February 1951) requesting him to write the discussion on John Russel's paper titled 'The Control of Fungus Diseases' for a Scientific Conference at Fernhurst Research Station in 1951. Also includes a handwritten page of feedback for the research and performance of unnamed persons.
