Description
Folder contains a combination of letters - a handwritten one from Verghese Kurien to Swaminathan, and other letters to Swaminathan from the National Dairy Development Board from other employees there on behalf on Kurien. The letters in the folder touch on the World Food Prize, Kurien's proposed meeting with the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on the 20th and 21st of May, acceptance of the Ardhanareeswaran Committee report by the Tamil Nadu government (from Amrita Patel). The folder also contains a letter from Swaminathan to A.K Venkat Subramaniam, a copy of which was also sent to Kurien (more material in MS-007-2-6-49-8).
