Machhu Singh regarding non-receipt of a seed package sent from IARI. Contains correspondence with Clarrence McDonald of North Dakota State Univesity, V A Johnson of the United States Department of Agriculture regarding the generation of seeds with high lysine values; Swaminathan's reply to the former informing that the high lysine content was due to a fault in instrument; Reports and records of the amount of wheat supplied; list of addresses from whom money order has been recived and where seeds have to be dispatched to; Statement of wheat seed supply as on 4 November 1967; Information on multiplication of seeds sent to Jain from P L Guglani on behalf of George Varughese; a short summary of growth and multiplication of various populations of Sharbati Sonora. Also contains communication from S. Ujjal Sigh, Governor of Madras, Iqbal Singh, Development Commisoner, Private Secretary to the Minister for Food and Agriculture, Sardar Buta Singh, MP, Bill C Wright of the Rockfeller Foundation; permit from the Office of the Chief Controller of Rationing, Delhi, for transporting seeds across zones.
